August 2022 [News](https://www.hynion.com/news/tag/news) [Regulatory](https://www.hynion.com/news/tag/regulatory) ![Featured Image](https://www.hynion.com/hubfs/Hynion%20station.jpg) Hynion has selected PDC Machines to supply compressors for their new hydrogen filling stations, which are set to be built in Västerås and Jönköping in Sweden.  These projects require dependable and robust compressors, as they represent a new generation of stations with the capacity to refuel dozens of trucks per day. Each station will deliver hydrogen at 35 and 70 MPa and will service both light and heavy-duty vehicles. “We see this partnership as the start of an ambitious, long-term collaboration”, says Ulf Hafseld, CEO of Hynion. “Good dialogue, good products and good service are important to us. The stations must deliver around the clock, and reliable compressors are indeed critical in this respect”. PDC's CEO, Kareem Afzal, and MD for the European region, Richard Kennett, express excitement and gratitude for the start of an important, longstanding collaboration with Hynion. “We are delighted to be working in partnership with Hynion and to support its vision for developing a network of low-carbon hydrogen refueling stations in the Region of North Europe (REN). Our advanced hydrogen compression technology, coupled with Hynion’s unrivalled experience in compressed gases and dispensing, will help to establish a reliable and cost-effective hydrogen refueling solution to scale,” says Kareem. Two powerful compressors will be provided for each station, enabling continuous delivery of hydrogen fuel for trucks and fuel cell vehicles in transit.
